• The client agrees to use Rakuten Broadband Premium's service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws.
• Use of Rakuten Broadband Premium's services for advertising or promotion of a commercial product or service with out the express written consent of Rakuten Broadband Premium is prohibited.
• This document may be revised at any time without prior notification. This version supersedes all previous versions. This does not apply to Web Hosting Package Services and Static IP services
• All decisions by Rakuten Broadband Premium are final.

• Clients may not send unsolicited e-mail to anyone.
• The client agrees that he/she/they are liable for all damages incurred due to spamming from their account.
• Sending the same or similar unsolicited email to more than 25 people and/or Rakuten Broadband Premium receiving any complaints from users whether they be Rakuten Broadband Premium clients or users from another domains regarding any unsolicited email originating from a Rakuten Broadband Premium user is considered spam by Rakuten Broadband Premium.
• Spamming also includes "mail bombing" users with multiple email messages to a single individual that results in denial of service or excessive use of Rakuten Broadband Premium resources.

• Clients may not cross-post to more than 10 newsgroups for any single post or multiple posts to any single news group. Also post must be kept on topic or in accordance with each news group's FAQ.
• Attempts to cancel messages other than your own from a news server are not allowed.
• Clients may not post commercial advertisements to news groups unless the news group specifically says in that news group's FAQ that you are allowed to do so.
• Clients must obtain permission from the Rakuten Broadband Premium news administrator before sending a newgroup or rmgroup control message to create or remove an Usenet news group.
• Clients may not use NNTP "suck feeds" and/or any other methods to redistribute news without permission from the Rakuten Broadband Premium news administrator.

• Clients may not falsify the origin of any email or postings to news groups and/or disguise the senders correct Rakuten Broadband Premium address when using Rakuten Broadband Premium servers either directly or indirectly as a means of transport. This includes subscribing any valid or invalid address to a mailing list other than the UserID issued to the client by Rakuten Broadband Premium.

• Clients are prohibited from multiple simultaneous log-ins with the same UserID.
• Running processes while a user is not logged on is forbidden.
• Ping flooding from a Global OnLine host/router to outside of Rakuten Broadband Premium's domain or into a Global OnLine host/server/router from outside of Rakuten Broadband Premium's domain is prohibited. This also includes but is not limited to SYN attacks, smurf attacks, or any other denial of service attack.

• Failure to follow any and all of the AUP (this document) may result in but not be limited to any and/or all of the following:
• The clients account may be suspended for an indefinite amount of time,
• The clients account may be terminated,
• Rakuten Broadband Premium reserves the right charge for excessive use of system resources. Excessive use will be determined by Rakuten Broadband Premium
• The client may be charged for any damage to hardware and/or software, lawyer fees, or time of Rakuten Broadband Premium staff time required as a result of any infringement of this policy.
• The client may be charged for excessive use of Rakuten Broadband Premium's resources. Excessive use will be determined by Rakuten Broadband Premium.
